Navy Museum Tour:

The Navy Museum tour last approximately 30 minutes. It gives a brief insight into the lives of service men and women who have served our nation with pride. Each tour begins in the Navigators section with the arrival of Captain Cook and progresses through the our nation’s Naval history to the present day.

Royal New Zealand Naval Base Heritage Tour:

Enjoy an hour long tour of the ‘home of the Royal New Zealand Navy - HMNZS Philomel.’ Get an interesting glimpse of the Navy today while being informed about the history of the Naval Base. On a tour you can expect to see the Memorial Wall, Calliope Dry Dock, St Christopher’s Chapel and HMNZS Achilles gun turret.

Devonport Waterfront Tour:

Take an informative tour along Devonport’s waterfront; discover the relationship between Devonport and the Navy.
The tour starts from Windsor Reserve (opposite the Devonport Library) and finishes at Torpedo Bay (next to North Head). This walking tour is flat and at a gentle pace.
Visitors to Devonport may then like to walk up to North Head and take in the historic tunnels and watch a video in the historic stone kitchen. The view from the top of North Head gives an excellent perspective on the city of Auckland and it’s main shipping entrance.
